GOLL's medical English program is English with
a purpose. The purpose is to improve the
professional opportunities for doctors, nurses,
pharmacists and lab technicians who want the
opportunity to work abroad.
GOLL combines the attributes of an academic
teacher with the motivating aspects of a coach
in order to give a unique learning environment
to our students. Our classes are interactive and
scenario- based with real world simulations to
augment the grammar and vocabulary learned
in class. We do not just learn words and phrases!
We practice by opening an "account" in English,
asking questions to English speaking "patients",
answering emails and text messages in English...
Our program is very demanding because a
health care provider who dreams of working in
the U.S., Canada or Australia needs to
understand patients, communicate with
doctors, and order from the lab and pharmacy,
as well as function in the country where they will
live.
With agreements with nursing schools and
hospitals throughout Central and South America
along with economical instruction in our
academies, GOLL goes a step further in
helping to attain the employment aspirations of
foreign nurses all over the world . GOLL
English classes student to change their focus for
up to 2 years with 5 hours of study 365 daysa
year. In October of 2009 we will offer CGFNS
and NCLEX training programs in India.
